Our Story
When you go out of your way to create the world’s tastiest sandwiches, people tend to go out of their way to get their hands on them. And it’s been like this since we opened the doors of the first Togo’s in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. And people formed lines out the door, anxiously awaiting their turn for tastebud nirvana.
Today, people still go above and beyond to get our sandwiches. Because for many, you can never go too far for a Togo.

Business Philosophy
The most important relationships are with our people, guests, vendors and Franchisees. Every decision must be made by first considering the full extent of the impacts on these key stakeholders of the Team Togo’s.Franchisee Philosophy
The franchisor and franchisee partnership can only achieve mutual success if we are committed to work together through the Power of We. We must consistently act with a win-win mindset that is focused on driving restaurant economics to provide greater opportunities to our employees, vendors, and franchisees.Education

Business Philosophy
People are foundational to success. I believe sharing the vision early and often helps everyone support, build and sell the brand. Consequently, making sure everyone is in the same boat and paddling the same direction can only happen when I’m listening to and aware of feedback from our teams, franchisees, guests, and vendors. The best people relationships lead to the best business decisions.Franchisee Philosophy
Brand stewardship is everyone’s responsibility. As such, I cultivate respectful and responsive relationships with our Franchisees, seek to understand their needs, and support their success with tools and information to build their business and the Togo’s brand.Education

Business Philosophy
The core of a healthy work environment begins with treating people with decency, fairness and respect. The motivation to achieve excellence in product quality and service are optimized in a healthy work environment where people are clear on the goals and expectations, given the tools and systems to do the job, and encouraged to ask questions. When people love their work, it is apparent in the commitment to being “True to the Sandwich” and satisfying our guests.Franchise Philosophy
