Tony & Togo’s: In 2007, Tony Gioia and Mainsail Partners, a leading growth equity firm, acquired Togo’s Eateries, a multi-unit premium sandwich concept, from Dunkin’ Brands Inc. Today, Tony serves as Chairman and CEO of Togo’s Holdings, LLC, which operates more than 240 locations across the Western United States.

Renae Scott Renae Scott

Chief Marketing Officer, Togo’s Eateries, Inc.

Renae & Togo’s: Renae Scott joined Togo’s as vice president of branding and marketing in December 2008 and oversees new product development, marketing and advertising.

A visionary and strategist, Renae supervises all aspects of brand management. She has led Togo’s brand-rejuvenation efforts working to redesign the company’s logo, menu boards, uniforms and packaging. In addition, Renae has developed a new store prototype and remodel package for franchisees, and has been instrumental in launching new and limited time offer marketing promotions and public relations campaigns.

Professional Experience: Renae is an experienced executive and strategic marketer, having managed several nationally recognized brands within the restaurant, food and beverage, consumer products and non-profit industries.

Todd & Togo’s: Todd Peterson joined Togo’s Sandwiches as vice president of franchise sales in July 2009. He is responsible for leading the company’s large network of franchise operations.

At the forefront of Togo’s rapid yet careful franchise growth has been Todd, leading corporate development and brand-refresh initiatives to drive expansion.

Professional Experience: Todd is a leader in franchise sales and development with a large portfolio of brand development and expansion throughout the United States and international markets.

John & Togo's: John re-joined Togo'’'s as Vice President of Franchise Operations in June 2014. He is responsible for leading the company's operations group. John and his team are committed to delivering high quality sandwiches and a superior guest experience every day in every restaurant.

Professional Experience: John is a veteran operations and business development leader with extensive experience with great worldwide brands. John and his team lead franchise business operations in more than 250 Togo's Restaurants. Previously, Carlson was Senior Director of Franchise Operations and Business Development at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, where he was accountable for operations and business development in the US, Latin America and Europe. Prior John served 25 years in a variety of roles with Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Togo's when the brands were owned by Allied Domecq Retailing USA.

Her hands-on experience and historical knowledge of the 40-year-old brand serves as an invaluable asset in effectively managing Togo’s finances and contributing directly to the company’s overall success.
